Lazy day and an overnight guest

Taking full advantage of the holiday weekend, the Birschwood trio tested the newly established guest bed. Randolph is the only one that successfully napped, but LJ and I enjoyed the snuggles, giggles, and photographs.



The holiday weekend concluded with the worst making of won ton soup possible. Having created a pot of delicious won tons only recently, I changed the cooking vessel to the crock pot in favor of the broth not overflowing. Mistake? Definitely. Will repeat? Never again. The end result resembled won top porridge. We satiated hunger with a separate pot of an entirely different soup made by Alison and me.
