A sunny credenza day

Wednesday began with the arrival of the fruits of Saturday's shopping expedition. Thanks to the Birsch parents we are now armed with proper storage for our nice things: crystal, fine china, and the crock pot! We hope to utilize the extra space better in the future but for now having a home for kitchen overflow (even the contents of still packed boxes!) could not be greater appreciated.

Whilst her daddy man worked LJ assisted in the making of soups the last few days. We enjoyed miso and egg drop a la Ching Ching Cha of Georgetown.

In the afternoon we ventured outdoors and hoped that Randolph would be home soon. After a couple hours of running, hide & seek, playing with the frisbee, and digging we had a surprise visit from our Captain America! (*we acknowledge the nerdy statement but the captured running stance requires such a title)


The hours of play thankfully took their toll on the little lady. Mocking her near death exhaustion, Randolph slouched on the sofa...and my phone was at the ready.
